Open Enrollment
Open enrollment starts in spring for fall classes and while we often have a waiting list, we make every effort to accommodate additional students. Interested parents can contact the school any time of year for more information.
Admissions Process
Children are evaluated on the basis of readiness for school and potential for success in a Montessori environment. It is equally important to determine whether the parents’ educational philosophy is compatible with that of MSPI. The admissions process consists of a parent observation visit with the Director, an evaluation of the child by a teacher, and submission of application form. Priority in enrollment is given to siblings and children transferring from another Montessori program. Applications for students older than three years of age are accepted if they are transferring from another Montessori school, or as space allows.
Re-enrollment
Re-enrollment takes place in early spring. Requirements for enrollment include payment of all fees, teacher recommendations, and submission of any necessary forms. A student’s re-enrollment is subject to approval by Montessori School of Pawleys Island.
Tuition Rates & Fees 2025-2026
MSPI participates in South Carolina’s ABC Quality Program, a voluntary quality rating and improvement system. By choosing an ABC Quality Program, families may be eligible for financial assistance through the SC Voucher Program to help pay for child care.
Programs
INFANT (8 weeks – 18 months)
- Tuition (Year-Round): 5 days/week, $995/month (12 payments)
TODDLER (18 months – 3 years)
- Tuition (Year-Round): 5 days/week, $915/month (12 payments)
PRIMARY (3 years through Kindergarten)
- Tuition (Year-Round): 5 days/week, $895/month (12 payments)
- Tuition (Academic)*: 5 days/week, (10 payments)
*The 2025-2026 Academic Program is from August 11 through May 29
MSPI offers a $1,000 sibling discount.

INFANTS
- 5 days/week: $315/month (5-day option only)
TODDLER & PRIMARY
- 5 days/week: $305/month
- 4 days/week: $285/month
- 3 days/week: $245/month
- 2 days/week: $195/month
- 1 day/week: $145/month

NEW STUDENTS
- Application (non-refundable, due at time of application): $175
- Enrollment (non-refundable, due with first month’s tuition): $150
RETURNING STUDENTS
- Re-Enrollment (non-refundable, due June 1): $50
ALL STUDENTS
- Operation/Supply Fee (non-refundable, due August 1): $400/annually
Weekly Summer Camp – Summer 2026
- Primary students on Academic Year schedule and Lower Elementary (Grades 1-3) are eligible.
- Families may pick and pay for individual weeks rather than pay for a full month.
- Camp spots are limited and subject to availability.

SUMMER CAMP PRICING
- Weekly Summer Camp: $250/week
- Early Bird Rate (choose your weeks by April 15, 2026): $225/week
