August 22, 2015
This week marks the beginning of our academic school year. We are in the midst of a large renovation project to improve the outdoor environment for our students. Along with the growth of our school, we have had welcomed two fantastic additions to our infant staff. I hope each of you have had the opportunity to meet Ms. Malarie, and Ms. Paget. They are full of both love and smiles.
Please be sure to join us Thursday, August 27th at 5:30pm for our back to school night.
The children in our classroom are on the move. Miles and Elijah are quickly finding things around the room that intrigue them. Watching them just makes me smile. Tripp has discovered how to get into the baskets of toys and is digging for objects he recognizes. It seems like yesterday they were just tiny infants.
It has been really fun to help introduce solids to these little guys! I can hardly wait for them to join us at the community table.
Chase and Conrad are quickly improving their fine motor skills. Chase is working on feeding himself with a spoon and trying to stack blocks, and Conrad is trying to undo every lock on each gate.
As soon as I sit down to start circle time Ryan quickly settles into my lap, and the infants gather around. We bring the smaller infants to us on the rug and the more mobile children hurry to be close. They truly enjoy this time each morning. We try to have morning circle time around 9:00. If you have time to log in and watch us, please do!
