Primary 3 Class November 9-13 2015
Good morning to all! Primary 3 had an interesting week full of exciting new math lessons and American history. On Tuesday, we had a special veteran, Mr. James McElveen, visit our class to talk about Veterans Day and care of the American flag. We really appreciate his service to our country and his important message and lesson for our students.
The Pilgrims voyage on the Mayflower in 1620 and their first year in Plymouth, were our history lessons of the week. Our students really love this account of the first American settlement in what in now the USA. Baking and tasting hard tack (Mayflower food staple), was everyone’s favorite experience of the week!
