Primary 3 May 6-10: Bugs and More Bugs!

Insects have taken center stage in Primary 3 for the past two weeks. Everyone has been busy observing and making temporary collections of various insects from our outdoor environment. After watching our Painted Lady caterpillars eat, grow, and molt for ten days, we were thrilled to discover that they had begun their metamorphosis  by turning into chrysalis’s! We are counting the days till our new butterflies emerge.

*Highlight of the Week: We invited our Mom’s to school on Friday morning for a Mother’s Day Celebration.   The weather was  warm and sunny for this special day to honor our wonderful Mothers!
