Primary 3 News January 19-23 2015
It has been an amazing winter week in Primary 3! We have continued our intriguing exploration of the continent of Antarctica. Our focal points this week were the land, ice, and the fascinating emperor penguins.
On Wednesday, Kelly Metz , an RN, visited our class and gave an informative handwashing lesson. We really appreciate Kelly’s expertise and support!
Our class was very busy this week with our all of our curriculum materials and works. Some favorite works were matching animals to their continents, handwashing station, egg slicing, hammering, magnets, and geoboards. The third year students were busy with the multiplication boards, subtraction with the bead stairs, and cursive writing practice. On Thursday, we made some awesome crystals. Our experiment was successful!
