The students in Primary 3 have begun their study of insect with a focus on the life cycle of the butterfly. We have Painted Lady Butterfly larva that we are observing and studying. The children are enjoying watching them eat, molt, and grow! We check every day to see if they have turned in to chrysalis’. Everyone is excited to be witnesses of this magical transformation called metamorphosis. They love that word! We are continuing to weed and water our garden. We actually have small tomatoes, peppers and strawberries growing already!
Highlight of the Week: We made recycled paper from our construction paper scrapes that we have been saving this year!
The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say, “The children are now working as if I did not exist.”
