Primary 3 Update April 14-17 2014
We had an awesome week discovering all there is to know about flowers. Everyone participated in planting flowers in our earth boxes that are located on our outdoor work patio. The second and third year students dissected azalea flowers. They took apart the flowers, located, discussed and made a chart , isolating each individual flower part. The students were excited to discover that our bean seeds now had not only roots, but stems reaching for the sun.
Our holiday activities included crafting spring hats and bunny ears and egg dying. The eggs were placed in their lovely real grass baskets and their hats and bunny ears were worn in our Spring Parade. The parade was so much fun! The weather was beautiful. Many younger students, parents, grandparents, and friends came to watch. Happy Spring Break!
