Hello parents and families,
Wow what a nice week we have had. It seems like everyone is finally getting over this little virus. Today everyone is happier more content, engaged in work, and eating better. We enjoyed playing outside this morning and have replaced one of our circle time songs with the “Itsy Bitsy Spider.” Please continue to sing “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes” at home. It is a fun way to identify parts of the body in a song, and get the children physically involved. We have been urged by the C.D.C., to discourage children touching their faces, eyes, ears and noses. This age group is always busy studying our mouths when we speak; they are looking for eye contact, and studying our faces for emotional clues. Just because I cannot encourage it here, doesn’t mean it is not a very age appropriate song.
I hope you and your families all have a fun weekend.
I have included some fun pictures from this week below.
